“Thrones may be occupied by appointment, but authority is inherited. Blue blood does not fade, it remembers. Ancestral power cannot be voted out, replaced, or erased by modern politics. When a reincarnated power tells you that the throne is not yours, it will never be yours.” – Professor Sandra Chidinma Duru
My late father used to joke with me when he was alive. Whenever I did certain things, he would laugh and say I behaved like the youngest and favorite wife of his grandfather, Asanma “Obidiya”, His Royal Majesty Eze Ikeazota. Those words were not casual jokes. They were ancestral codes spoken in humor.
One day, I sat my father down with his close friend, my beloved uncle, the late Pa Anushirinonye. That day, they opened a sacred archive. They told me the story of my great grandfather, one of the greatest kings to ever walk the soil of our community. In that moment, everything aligned. I began to trace my strength, my intelligence, my fearlessness, and my refusal to bow to injustice to my lineage, to my royal bloodline.
There is no doubt in my mind that my fathers spoke through me last month in my ancestral homeland. Through my voice, he reminded a “politically” appointed king and his reckless cabinet that the bloodline of the true king of the land is never, and will never be treated as a slave. No matter who temporarily occupies the throne, blue blood does not fade. Royal essence does not expire.
There must always be a reincarnation of royalty. A living representative of the ancestral authority. Whether housed in a male or female body, the divine mandate remains the same. Power and legitimacy are inherent. They are ancestral, spiritual, and immutable.
Modern politics cannot rewrite ancient covenants. Political appointments cannot overthrow ancestral authority. That is why history records that when thrones are desecrated and sacred orders are violated, consequences follow. Not because of hate or vengeance, but because ancestral laws do not negotiate. The disobedience of the ancestral laws and authorities brings mysterious death and other consequences to the perpetrators and their enablers up to their families and generations unborn.
Royal blood remembers everything and every single person who desecrates the throne and the monarchy. Yes, ancestral power endures. But authority rooted in lineage cannot be erased.
