Accountability Is Not Witchhunting.
Enough of the Manipulations.
I heard that Natasha Akpoti publicly claimed that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria said the criminal cases against her hold no substance and are merely political witchhunting. Let us be clear once again on this. The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is a brilliant and responsible leader. He will NEVER rubbish the same institution he represents. He will NEVER undermine the security and justice systems of this nation.
How can anyone describe those serious criminal cases, backed with evidence of audacity and impunity, as mere political games to witchhunt a woman who openly engaged in such unlawful actions? I doubt very strongly that PBAT would ever say such a thing. We all have legitimate access to the President and other national leaders. It is obvious that Natasha Akpoti, the master of fabrication, is lying again.
She is desperately obsessed with creating false narratives, just as she did a few days ago when she spewed nonsense on her platform insulting the Senate President and other senators. She paraded a mischievous letter of information, not an invitation, to her so called recycled constituency empowerment and imaginary two years anniversary celebration. She conveniently forgot that she lied about everything and has not even completed two years in the Senate. Tell me, how many of her colleagues did you see there? Did you see the Senate President present? The Senate President simply performed his official duty by reading a letter addressed to the Senate as an institution. It was never personal. It was never a reconciliation move. It was nothing more than procedural duty.
No wonder CP Akin Fakorede ( the head of the IGP Monitoring Unit) and his allies were desperately attempting to remove me from these cases, but they failed woefully. If anyone tries to politicize this case or attempts to twist the arm of the Senate President to bury it, they cannot twist the arm of a non politician like me who has already petitioned the police with even deeper and more devastating evidence. PBAT WILL NEVER MAKE SUCH A JOKE OF NIGERIA!
Because if Nigeria allows this nonsense, then it means anyone can wake up tomorrow and publicly weaponize the media and gender against the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They could call him a murderer, claim that his wife carries a stolen or harvested heart of a child, or accuse him of raping a minor or committing any other horrific allegation without a single evidence or proof. And we condemn Trump for his utterances and actions while enabling a system that entertains reckless falsehood and behavior in our own nation?
The Attorney General of the Federation already affirmed that Natasha Akpoti has cases to answer. That is the truth. Justice must not become a political toy.
Nigeria must choose integrity over noise making and irresponsible behavior. The institution must stand. The truth must stand. And the law must speak.
