We have talked about politics, effective communication, the importance of strategic silence, and even dived into emotional intelligence in leadership. We have used Adams and Natasha as examples, examined the ongoing dynamics between Akpabio and Oshiomhole, and explored how leaders navigate power, conflict, and perception.
Now, let us talk about ourselves. Yes, let’s talk about us!
What is that one thing that is constant in your life?
As for me, the only thing that is constant is GOD. My belief in Him is constant. Our relationship is constant and sacred. The way we communicate and understand each other is constant. I have a special room for Him, a special corner for Him, and a special seat reserved for Him. Together, we manage that relationship very well.
No man, no woman, no institution, no government, no political party, and no system is constant in my life. People can choose to leave, walk away, disconnect, disappear, or even work against you. On the other hand, you may also choose to disconnect from people, ignore them, or move on from certain relationships and systems.
But one thing I have learned in life is that whenever a person, a group, or a system decides to cut you off, GOD immediately begins the process of replacing them with someone or something better to help you fulfill your destiny and complete the assignment for which He created you.
God’s work cannot stop because someone withdrew. Your destiny cannot be paused because a system changed. Your purpose cannot be destroyed because a door closed.
That is why you will find me relevant from system to system, regime to regime, administration to administration, and season to season. Human beings do not regulate my destiny. Governments do not regulate my purpose. Institutions do not regulate my future.
I decide who enters my life and who exits my life based on my values, convictions, principles, and beliefs because the only constant in my life is GOD, and together, we are in control.
Learn not to be a people pleaser. Learn not to be a sycophant. Learn not to engage in eye service or sweet-talk people simply to gain attention, approval, or favor.
Stand for what is right. Speak the undiluted truth. Be honest. Be courageous. Fear nothing and fear nobody except GOD.
Learn to commend when people deserve commendation and condemn when correction is necessary. Life is not about blind loyalty; it is about integrity. Be reasonable, be fair, and be truthful in all your dealings.
If they choose to hate you, let them hate you. If they choose to leave, let them leave. If they choose to disconnect, let them disconnect. GOD has a replacement strategy that no human being can stop.
The only constant in my life is GOD.
Amen and Amen! 🙏🏽❤️

No filters, no pretenses, just authenticity, culture, confidence, and grace. Sometimes, the village girl never leaves; she simply grows into a global voice. Lol.
