Why erase your past? No, you don’t have to erase your past to build a better life or to become the best you want to be. Your past is part of your solid foundation and it will help to make your new life easier, better and stronger if you don’t live in the past structure, but use it to REBUILD your beautiful new world.
You don’t move on with the debris, hurts and the pains from you past, rather you use the debris as a manure to grow your beautiful flowers in your new garden and discard the toxic waste that are not in anyway useful to you and your new life/ environment. Do not store them to occupy the space meant for productive and healthy recycling activities in your new area. In life, you’ve to move forward with your experiences and not move on with trials, bad experiences and toxic people.
“Life is divided into three terms – that which was, which is, and which will be. Let us learn from the past to profit by the present, and from the present, to live better in the future.” – William Wordsworth
The past is gone. You have learnt from your mistakes, and you have overcome the pains, setbacks, trials, tribulations, hurts and you’re stronger now and ready to live a much more better, healthier, happier life today. You can do it without any regrets or having to throw pity parties or looking for anyone to sympathize with you and your situation. You need to get up, dust yourself and get moving forward in life. You are too good to be down and feeling hopeless and bad.
Great people do not live in the past, and they don’t erase their past, but they use their past to shape their new lives in a positive way, manner, attitude and behavior. They only get better and stronger than they used to be.
You can do this.
