It is a beautiful Tuesday morning, and before I hit the gym to begin my workout routine, I need to address something important, not noise, and not emotions, but memory, history, and truth, because too many people still underestimate the power of a focused, strategic, and disciplined woman.
This conversation started from my post about Hope Uzodinma, his desperation for the Senate and the Senate Presidency, even when the position is still zoned to the South South, and why a man with a past tied to questionable dealings from his Lagos days with Maurice and others should be answering serious questions, not occupying public office, because Imo State does not belong to one man, it belongs to all of us.
Now, for those who only read about me or hear my name in passing, let me introduce myself to you properly. I am Prof. Sandra Chidinma Duru.
In 2011, I received a distress call from someone very close to my then foster father, Owelle Rochas Okorocha. I was in the United States at the time. The message was clear. He had been blacklisted and all securities withdrawn. I smiled and told them to expect me in 48 hours. I landed in Lagos and immediately set things in motion. Emergency meetings were organized with security experts, media teams, observers, journalists, and lawyers. Bulletproof vests were secured, gadgets and software deployed, and a control room was designed with its operational base strategically located outside of Imo State. I moved with my own financial resources because independence removes compromise and I do not rely on external sources when precision is required.
When I arrived in Imo State, what I met was a scattered and psychologically drained support system. Rochas Okorocha was in Orlu at the residence of my former boss when I served with Akanya at the SON, the former Minister of Industry, Chief Dr. Achike Udenwa. Within two to three hours, I restored his security details, reinforced manpower, positioned legal teams, and activated operational structures. From my research and scenario mapping, I already knew there would be supplementary elections in volatile zones like Ngor Okpala and other critical wards and LGAs, so we did not react, we anticipated. I handed lawyers what we call ahead scenario incidents so we prepared for problems before they showed up.
Then I turned to the opposition, Ikedi Ohakim. Within 48 hours, I studied and broke down the structure, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and strategies, and then neutralized them. His strongest pillar, High Chief Bonny Ebeli, was rendered ineffective and all his powers were dismantled strategically, not emotionally. Ask Hafiz Ringim and others who were witnessed the 2011 Imo state elections “11:45 hour DIM” by Sandra Duru.
But let me pause to honor those we lost, Mr. Samuel, the Director of DSS Imo State, Mr. Chukwuma of Channels Television, and NSA Andrew Azazi. May their souls rest in peace. We lost them after the victory over tyranny in Imo state. They encountered something they never forgot, a woman they described as “top peculiar”. Many who witnessed those realist moments are still alive, including Hafiz Ringim, CP Alobi, AIG Ivy Okoronkwo, IGP Mike Okiro, Ope Banwo, Chris Nwokobia, and Nkiruka Sylvanus, they are living witnesses.

So when you ask me why I am upset with Rochas Okorocha, understand this clearly, it is not ordinary disappointment, it is betrayal. He did not just hurt me badly, he broke a vow and dishonored something deeper than politics, and yes, I laid a curse from the depth of my heart. I have not even told the full story of how Nkechi Okorocha ruined my marriage, not because I cannot, but because of the bond I share with Uche Nwosu, from IMSU to Jos, to Abuja, to Texas, some relationships are beyond explanation.
Then came Eze Madumere, the same man I called Daddy OBJ in Otta where I grew up around people like M J Walker and Ayodele Aderinwale. Because of me, he was forgiven and walked out of detention. I remember that Saturday clearly. Uche Nwosu came into my room at Larmonde Hotel and said we needed more money. I laughed, walked to my “school bag”, and handled it. When there were hitches, I intervened again and he came out. That is history. Let me tell you this for free, Prince Eze Madumere is the most useless deputy governor ever produced in the history of Nigeria and he is ITIBORIBO. Ask all his ex-wives why they left the SODOMIC MARRIAGE!
Now let us return to today. Someone said, who is this one, men ran away, talk more women. Hope Uzodinma is a big man! Another voice responded wisely, underrating the power of a willed woman is the beginning of surprises, and then came the political predictions and fear narratives.
Now hear me clearly. I do not argue, I do not shout, I do not seek validation, I act only when it is very necessary and important, and I do not miss my opportunity and my target.
To my beloved Imolites and social media fans, friends, and followers, do not waste your time and your energy replying similar comments on my strategic posts, or tweets, I have heard these statements before, they do not move me, they activate me. To Kenneth Onyegbula, understand this, my silence is not weakness, my silence is strategy. To Medifes Medicals, I hear you, but I do not operate on fear, I operate on precision and very unpredictable nature of reactions and my deliverables are not ordinary.
As far as I am concerned, Hope Uzodinma is a little boy in the context of strategic power. If those who should stand up are afraid, then let it be known, I will step in.
Because I am not just a woman, I am a peculiar woman, and history has already recorded what happens when I step into a situation that requires order, intelligence, and courage.
Women are not weak. Women are not pawns. Women are not losers. Beautifully Brilliant and Fearless Women RULE THE WORLD, but they live in their own world.
Underestimate a disciplined woman with a mission, and you will not just be surprised, you will be corrected.
