I Am PROF. SANDRA CHIDINMA DURU, A Universal Citizen of Truth and Justice
This is bigger than one case. Justice, national security, and Nigeria’s future are at stake.
I remember a phone call with the Honourable Attorney General of the Federation, Lateef Fagbemi, a very calm and soft spoken man. During the call, I jokingly told him that he actually sounds like a woman and we laughed about it. But after that moment, I immediately moved on to the very serious reason for the call and made my points clear.
Today, history is at a critical point. If the lawlessness and disgraceful behavior of Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan are not handled properly, Nigeria risks sending a message to its citizens and the world that impunity rules. I have never been silent on this matter. I have consistently raised concerns about abuse of power, compromise of due process, and disregard for justice. Failing to act responsibly is not just a national embarrassment it undermines the constitution, the rule of law, and our justice system.
In the past few months, I have survived targeted and politically motivated attacks designed to break me. They ALL failed. I documented everything. Today, I have completed a comprehensive report and a documentary series exposing exactly what I experienced, how it was done, and why it matters. But, waiting patiently to see if the players will do the right things and prosecute the culprits.
Let it be clear once again that I, Prof. Sandra Chidinma Duru did not withdraw my petition. I am not just a principal witness in other related cases, but I am a complainant on my own case. My brilliantly written petitions dated back in April, 2025 have been officially submitted, assigned, investigated, and acknowledged as containing substantial and credible evidence. Some of these evidences have already been released to the appropriate authorities.
I demand that this case be professionally reviewed, thoroughly re-investigated, and the suspect prosecuted without delay or political interference. I want hearings to be accelerated and the results to be made public in the spirit of transparency and accountability. If forgiveness is ever considered, it must come only after full accountability and a clear display of remorse.
I do not want to go further than the truth and the facts allow. My evidence is solid and I am prepared to present it so the public can see the full roles played by everyone involved, including political leaders, security agencies, and institutions entrusted with justice.
This is a matter of national and international importance. Nigeria and the world are watching us. The law must speak and the constitution must prevail.
Attached is the acknowledgement copy of the most recent petition I submitted to the Honourable Attorney General.
Guess what, submitting this petition did not come without the usual warnings and threats to my life. I have forwarded every detail to the proper authorities, and I will share the full story with you in my next post. Stay tuned, because the truth is coming, and it cannot be ignored.
