I know many people wonder how career women, especially dual parents like us, still find the time to create educational content, engage meaningfully on social media, manage demanding careers, lead organizations, attend meetings, study, travel, and somehow maintain a normal life in the middle of it all.
The answer is simple, and it is FULFILLMENT! When you genuinely love what you do, it does not always feel like work. More importantly, you must never lose yourself in the pursuit of success. Titles, responsibilities, and achievements should enhance your life, not consume it.
I just completed the first phase of my professional examinations and am now preparing for the second phase on June 20.
Phase One included:
• Credit Guarantee Scheme for SME Development (CCFAP 804)
• Corporate Credit Analysis (CCFAE 808)
Both examinations were part of the Credit Management Executive Programme at the Postgraduate School of Credit & Financial Management under the Credit & Financial Analysis Professional (CCFAP) certification.
Today also happens to be my youngest child’s (Dikesinachi’s) birthday. Unfortunately, I am unavoidably absent because I am attending a critical security meeting in another country and will return within 48 hours to review important reports and documents.
Moments like these remind me why life requires balance, sacrifice, discipline, and intentionality. Sometimes, I joke that this is why I hardly have time to comb my natural hair. I still wish my parents had kept my childhood dreadlocks!

As we pursue excellence, let us remember a few important things: protect your peace, preserve your mental health, stay focused on your purpose, and keep some aspects of your life private. Not every achievement needs an announcement, and not every battle needs an audience.
Most importantly, never live to impress people. Live to create value. Live to solve problems. Live to become so relevant, respected, and impactful that your presence cannot be ignored because your work speaks for itself.
