If there is one sure way to run yourself into an early grave in life, it is by living in a way that seeks to please everyone around you all the time, even to your detriment.
Face the truth: You can never make everyone happy with you all the time! No matter what you do or how hard you try, there will always be ingrates and malicious people who will never be satisfied with all your genuine efforts. I’ve had to deal with a few people like this at some points in my life, so I can boldly tell you this today.
And, for those who always try to find it over your head whenever they help you – People are meant to help others, and that’s how life operates. Don’t shrink yourself to make someone feel comfortable. Just because someone helped you in the past doesn’t mean you are indebted to them for life!
