Let me state this clearly once again for the record.
Natasha Akpoti and I have a long history. This is not speculation. This is 100% lived experience, my encounter with Natasha H. Akpoti, my professional and unprofessional interaction, and years of direct observation dating back to Gwagwalada, Abuja, Lagos, Nigeria, and our engagements around the Brass Refineries project.
My good friend (Prince “TuIti”.) and I served as principal consultants through ‘S****Coast’ Oil and Gas Company, which facilitated international participation, including European partners and engagement from France. During that period, I personally witnessed recurring patterns of conflict, deception, manipulation, boundary violations, and professional disruption. These patterns were not isolated incidents. They were consistent. They were dangerously orchestrated! I addressed them firmly at the time. Guess who was the problem? Natasha Hadiza Akpoti.
What many people are reacting to today is not new to me. It is a familiar script.
Over the years, I watched the same wicked tactics and patterns deployed repeatedly. Deep strategic misrepresentation. Emotional theatrics. Media manipulation and Information asymmetry. The calculated gender weaponization, exploitative and disingenuous behavior, and weaponization of narratives whenever accountability drew close. It worked on many people. It did not work on me. Not because I am special, but because I am trained and I have native intelligence.
As a media scientist, a born criminologist, and forensic analyst, I do not panic. I observe. I map terrain. I track actors. I study patterns, incentives, timing, and intent. So when legal actions suddenly avoided multiple courts and landed conveniently in one familiar jurisdiction, I laughed. My senior attorney remembers exactly what I said that day.
My operating principle has never changed and it will not change now because I am not going to change my values or beliefs to please anyone! My formula has always remained unchanged! Yield, Strike, or Sink. Action always produces reaction. My students understand this well in media science, criminology, and forensic psychology. It’s called Professor Sandra Duru AR = YSS equation.
When an interlocutory ruling emerged riddled with contradictions and loopholes, I responded lawfully, strategically, and proportionately. I mirrored the same platforms, tone, and media energy that had already been used extensively by Natasha Akpoti to attack reputations, spread allegations, and inflame the public space long before any court pronouncement. Even when the court gave its ruling/order, did Natasha Akpoti obey it? NO!!!
Let nobody pretend to clutch pearls now. Anyone who actively participated in media trials, sponsored lies, character assassination, and public smear campaigns has zero moral or legal authority to dictate how, when, or where I defend myself and others who were brutally attacked.
Let me be very clear. Selective justice will not intimidate me. Gender weaponization will not silence me. Media manipulation will not confuse me. Abuse of security and justice systems will not move me one bit!
If Nigeria is serious about protecting the credibility of its institutions, there is only one rational path forward. Due process. Accountability. Prosecution where evidence exists. Natasha Akpoti should be prosecuted, simple!
False accusations must have consequences. Media stunts must stop replacing courts. Otherwise, our laws become entertainment and our institutions become jokes. Why try to stop me now when no one could stop you from causing the reputational damage and embarrassment to others?
In due course, I will share one of the most instructive appeals ever filed in Nigeria on this matter, instituted by a senior Meta Facebook legal counsel. In a few precise sentences, it dismantled both procedural excesses and judicial overreach and demanded reassignment of the case. Meta/ Facebook taught a masterclass. Brief. Clean. Devastating. I respect that brilliant legal counsel from Meta/Facebook! Nigeria needs a forensic mind and a brilliant lawyer like him to sanitize our legal system.
This matter is far from over. And those enabling deception should be careful not to drown with it.
Truth has stamina! And I came very well prepared!!!
