I know that men can do terrible things to women in relationships, they can be inconsiderate, liars, inconsistent and cheaters. But no matter what a man’s behavior toward you, as a woman you should always be a lady. What do I mean by that? Allow me to explain.
Just because a man is a liar doesn’t mean that you lie. Just because he cheats doesn’t mean that you should cheat to get revenge. The answer to the problem isn’t to see yourself as equal to a man in being spiteful but to demonstrate class and strength by not allowing someone else’s bad behavior to drag you down.
Acting out is easy…and shouting back is defensive. But silence is deadly…and it demonstrates that she has come to a calculated and calm resolve to move on; not into the arms of another man but away from anything that diminishes her as a woman and as a human being.
Always be a lady…for your own benefit!
