SIR FRANK IBEZIM WINS COURT OF APPEAL JUDGEMENT

History has been made today at Court of Appeal Owerri as Sir Frank Ibezim wins his Appeal which has effectively Restored him as APC authenticate candidate for tomorrow’s Okigwe North Senatorial Bye-Election.

In an unanimous judgement the three Justices of the Court of Appeal upheld Sir Frank Ibezim’s Appeal, while setting aside the Judgment of the Federal High Court earlier delivered on the 6th November, 2020.

By this Court of Appeal judgment, INEC have been mandate to Restore the Name of Sir Frank Ibezim as the only and authenticatic APC candidate for the December, 5th 2020 Senatorial Bye Election

Recall that:
The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, presided over by Justice Ekwo has made the following declarations;

• That Francis Chukwuma Ibezim is not qualified/ eligible for nomination to contest the IMO North Senatorial By-Election, having made false declarations in the affidavit and certificates he submitted to INEC for the purpose of contesting the IMO North Senatorial by election, and the irreconcilable conflicts in his names.
• An injunction restraining INEC from accepting Francis Chukwuma Ibezim as the APC candidate for the IMO North senatorial by-Election.

What does this new judgement mean for Senator ARARAUME?
