Having A Plan In Life Gives You Better Chances At Success – Never Live Carelessly!
My sweet darlings, how are you all doing today? I am reminded about a scripture I love so much, and I feel led to share a profound truth from it today.
“Commit thy way unto the LORD; Trust also in him; And he shall bring it to pass.” – Psalm 37:5.
This passage came to mind because I saw a video online of an older man sharing some wise life tips, and I realized that, as excellent as all he said sounded, there was just this little bit of truth missing in it.
According to him, you can try everything your hands find to do in your 20s. At that age and level, it’s okay if you don’t have it all figured out yet, so keep trying multiple things to find which ones you can excel in.
In your 30s, though, you should have already been able to identify which you excel at and the things you do best so that by the time you cross into your 40s you will start making and generating wealth from it.
All these remind me of something I’ve always taught people around me for many years now – Having a plan gives you a much greater chance of succeeding in life than when you just live aimlessly and drift about daily.
King David said in that Psalm to commit our ways to God, and HE will bring them to pass. This implies that you should have a plan but even better, always commit them to God’s hands, and your success is guaranteed because HE will help you.
If you follow God step by step, you will never miss your steps! Knowing exactly what to do in your 20s, 30s, 40s, and beyond is excellent. It means you have a life plan which positions you well for greatness.
However, you should also learn to always commit those plans to the One who knows the end of all things from the beginning and has all power to ensure that you never fail. Success beckons when you live like this, my darlings. Embrace it!
