Unknown gunmen broke into lmo state prison, Owerri in the early hours of today, the 5th of April 2021. Our correspondent got a call at about 1:30 am that there has been a prison break in the state.
At the time of filing this report, there’s a fire outbreak at the Military checkpoint at Ukwuorji junction. Probably the gunmen have burnt down the state CID or the Military facility located in that area.
We are yet to confirm the number of casualties. Once we do, we will bring you the update.

- Do not forget to move around with a valid ID card.
- Do well to inform the people around you of your movement and location.
- Please dress smartly and neatly to avoid embarrassment from security operatives.
Be safe.
This is pure outrage. The states and country in general is in a total state of disarray.Leadership gap and inability to take right steps from those in power and the docility of the ruled had kept us where we find ourselves today.
Todo the right things behoves on us all to see this great giant succeed but unfortunately we have clueless hypocrites in power, liars and propagandists who are only after enriching themselves, family and croonies.
What would it cost the government to install and maintain a full CCTV unit on roads and facilities that can be monitored from a central data base like serious countries do?
Now it will end in finger pointing, politics of accusation and innocent Nigerians used as scapegoats in their failures to lead.
If a state police headquarters and a state prison facility can be atta he’d like this,I wonder where the hope of the common man lies.
May God help us all.
May God help us, just wish innocent people jail for what they did not know gain freedom too
This is serious, oh God come to our aid
