“Anyone Who Votes For Chidinma Okereafor In Owerri Is Ready To Continue Suffering!” – Uju Duru
Seasoned Public Affairs Officer, Publisher, and Broadcaster Uju Duru have taken recently to her social media to raise the alarm for people in Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria, about a prospective Senatorial candidate who is currently campaigning for votes.
According to Uju, the Senatorial aspirant, Chidinma Okereafor, should not be allowed to become a public office holder because she has reportedly shown that her only ambition is to loot public funds.
An appalling video of Chidinma soliciting for votes and bragging about her financial abilities was attached to Uju’s post, and she said:
“This contestant, Chidinma Okereafor, in my opinion, should not be voted into office as Senator of Owerri for Imo State, come 2023, pls.
She has just shown that what she will be doing is to pack all the dollars, pounds, and naira given to her for her intended constituents.
Why do I say so? Because in this video that she amazingly thinks is great, she has not uttered one word of what she will do for her intended constituents.”
The Publisher of Abuja Green Pages added: “Imo State is suffering terribly at the moment, and Owerri being the capital, is worse hit.
With bad roads, poor standard of living, insecurity, and not to mention the Biafra issue she has not said how she will make life better by bridging the gap and bringing peace to the people. Instead, she’s bragging about flying people down from Owerri to Abuja (as if Owerri is a shit hole and Abuja the palace) and talking about dollars and pounds.
If you are contesting for Owerri whatever you are doing should be in that locality and not Abuja. The people you are intending to have a voice for being there and not Abuja.
She has shown her illiteracy level by telling us she has no clue how to lead and be a voice for the people she is seeking to mediate on behalf.
Anyone who votes for her is ready to continue to suffer, having no regard for self and need for a better tomorrow.”
Judging by the content of the video and how the aspiring Senator presented herself, one does not need to wonder what kind of leadership and governance she would offer if she ever gets the mandate.
Unfortunately, though, Nigeria is currently littered with so many Chidinmas in the corridors of power, and their ineptitude and gross incompetence reflect on the people of their constituencies.
Hopefully, at every level of government, we pray that we will not be making an error as grave as voting in the wrong set of leaders again. So help us, God…Amen.
Please see the video here as well, and drop your thoughts on this in the comments section as well. God bless us all.
