Adversity And Setbacks Are What Makes You A Champion – Embrace Them!
One of my favorite lines from the movie “Pompei” was something the gladiators brought into the coliseum to fight to the death would say before the fights began: “We that are about to die – We salute you!”
More often than not, the ones that survived were those who embraced that present adversity, for what kills many in life is the fear of what is coming against them before it even comes! I learned a great lesson from this, and it has always been one of my mantras as I go through each day’s setbacks, trials, obstacles, and whatever else comes my way.
