We must raise our voices to condemn and demand justice for the dastardly execution of six Igbo soldiers who were court-martialed and killed under the orders of Rt Chief of Army staff, Lt. Gen. Yusuf Buratai on the 25th of January 2021, a day before his retirement, in a makeshift trial adjudged to be heavily unfair and utterly shrouded in secrecy. No one knew of their crimes and were denied rights to appeal. This is an arson to modern democracy and human rights. Every concerned Nigerian must call for a full investigation into this atypia, stinking of ethnic and religiously undertone.
This horrendous ‘murder’ of these six Igbo, Christian soldiers Prince Ukwuoma, Ebube Isaiah, Amos Azubuike, Ekene Ebere, Moses Anyim and Godwin Uchendu by the Nigerian military must be investigated to the full with all those privy to it brought to book. Such rapid trial and hurried execution for whatsoever is unacceptable at this age! We are in democracy for God’ sake!
In all honesty, this barbaric act would never have been meted out on these soldiers if they were Hausa or Yoruba or Muslims. Never! This is the bitter truth that must be spoken. The double standards in Nigeria is brazen.
Where are your balls; you Igbo governors, senators and all? Isn’t it obvious that you’re all castrated stooges? If not, you must act NOW! The Millitary isn’t beyond the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria which provides for human rights, justice and fair-hearing. This should be a test of the relevance of the life of every Igbo, Christian and indeed every Nigerian in this country. Enough is enough!
Nigeria 🇳🇬 is standing on a time bomb 💣 💣 💣..
