One of the most damaging mistakes I have seen many young people make these days is to keep trying to pass the buck of the blame for their current situation to every other person but themselves.
Yes, your parents were poor and couldn’t afford to give you a quality education and life. Yes, your father was a deadbeat and never around. However, where these situations lead you in life is entirely your responsibility and fault if things end negatively for you – not theirs!
